As a guide to class participation, these descriptions give an overview of the classes.
All levels: this class is appropriate for the beginner and the experienced yoga practitioner.
Variations to asana (poses/postures) will be
offered to make the pose more or less challenging.
Gentle: this class is more restorative without as much "holding" in the poses. Appropriate for all levels.
Moderate: this class consists of more challenging postures, longer holding, and a variety
of flows (vinyasa) such as the sun and moon salutations. The room is kept warm so participants may work up a sweat.
Moderate to challenging (or vigorous): this class is challenging and includes more difficult postures.
The room is kept warm, so expect to sweat.
