If you have considered trying yoga, please come and experience a class in our studio.  People of all ages and body types can safely practice yoga and reap the many benefits.  All participants are encouraged to honor their limitations and begin where they "are".
  



Moll
y Schlangen is the owner of Awakening Grace Yoga and a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and a Yoga Alliance RYT.   She believes yoga is a channel for healing and spiritual growth. Yoga practice benefits all ages, body sizes, and fitness levels. "We start where we are, and allow yoga to transform".  Molly brings her understanding of the human anatomy and physiology to her teaching.  She has worked as a Registered Nurse in the areas of Community Health, Sports Rehabilitation, School Health and Hospice.  Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Reiki II practitioner.  Her interests and focus include natural healing while using movement and meditation to help connect the body, mind and spirit.
 
 
 
  
Nel Norwesh is a Certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and enthusiastic practitioner of vinyasa yoga.  She teaches creative compositions of breath, rhythm and flow which honor her students' unique physical abilities and needs.  She invites students to explore yoga as a poem woven by the body, allowing breath and posture to serve as a portal into individual experience and divine union.  Her daughter Allie is a constant source of inspiration.  Witnessing a child's alertness to life's details and passionate physical interplay with her surroundings is a tremendous blessing.  Nel teaches children's yoga and creative movement, as well as hula hoop fitness.  Nel has been drawn to an extravagant array of eclectic movement throughout her lifetime, ranging from bicycle racing to dance, and various yoga styles.   She holds a BA in English Literature and has worked in public education. 





 
 

 


Yoga instructor Daniel "Brahmjash" Alicea, RYT-200, creates classes for every level of student, from gentle beginners to advanced and vigorous flows. He creates a environment for you to honor your body. Yogi Dan’s vinyasa flow incorporate elements of Kripalu, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, and other styles into a dynamic experience that invites participants to explore the depth of their practice. Certified as a Kripalu Yoga teacher, his class format is a traditional Kripalu yoga class; challenging you to discover and unleash the potential of your physical body with a mindfulness and compassion that have benefits on and off the mat. He began practicing yoga and soon discovered the far-reaching benefits of his daily practice. His passion for the practice of yoga is evident in his well thought out classes and his attention to detail. Dan hopes that all his students experience the joy, wellness, and blessings that can be received from a dedication to this practice.











Kendra Bailey has always had a passion for teaching and sharing with others.  She graduated from  the University of Rhode Island with a degree in elementary education.  Over time her interests turned toward health and fitness. She began teaching fitness classes at the local YMCA and it was here that yoga became an interesting and attractive way of approaching fitness.  As a certified Kripalu yoga instructor, she has been practicing and teaching yoga for 9 years.  Kendra has developed her own energetic, yet gentle flow which she makes accessible to yoga novices as well as the more practiced individuals.
